Resting on a hill in Oxford, Mississippi, Oxford Baptist Institute actively teaches God's people to be their very best for the Lord.  Founded in 1975 by Brethren LeRoy Dickinson, Jim Jones, and Charles Mask, OBI quickly became a popular ABA seminary due to its two day a week study schedule.  Classes in Bible Languages, Theology, Practicalities, Music, Youth Ministry, and, of course, God's Holy Word begin Monday morning and end Tuesday evening.  OBI is a full-time school which means much is accomplished in those two days.

There is great fellowship and interaction between instructors and students which brings about a bond of family love one for another.  Evening devotionals help to fan the flames of concern for each other.

OBI is a conservative school which still adheres to a dress code conducive to the uniform of a soldier of the cross.  The Authorized King James Version of the Bible is used exclusively in our teaching and preaching.
